Mr Aziz, you yourself has said that you had called the ambassador to get his thoughts. Did you at anytime of convestaion mentioned to him that you will be publishing this interview. If not then ambsaador is right that his thoughts were off the record and hence should not have published.
Even in routine day to day conversation we use bad words for our friends, and almost for everyone. Are you going to publish these just because you will get cheap publicity.
All the more, as you say you have highest respect for him, you should have taken his consent before publishing this interview.
