headless chickens
by Sundar Singham on Aug 21, 2007 04:18 PM

Did Sen mean only the MPs? Or was he going to attend a chicken meal? I am happy he did not say headless peacocks for then the tension would have been less, because peacocks are more beautiful to admire than chickens that only chirp continually round their mother!
What makes one wonder is that when words such as chicks or puppies and baby animals or birds are mentioned, why do our beloved and respected and worshipful reps wear the caps at once as if they fit them only and notany other such as, the members of the administrative machinery or fundamental groups or terrorists and their ilk? Why get so easily and readily wounded on each utterrance that wafts over the wind? No patience? What will our young ones(chickens) learn from us? Let us learn to brush aside things of less consequence and take on a humourous disposition. Instead of chillies add some spices.Learn to smile at hiccups. Dont make a mountain of a mole hill! Then the world will admire us!
