All the educated Indians who are regular readers of newspapers and watch the neutral experts on the TV Channels are convinced that the 123 Nuclear Agreement with USA is in the best interest of India.We are a power starved nation.Perpetual shortage of electricity is the biggest roadblock to our progress.Through this agreement,India can hope to generate electricity through nuclear power at a very cheap rate.This electricity costs nearly Rs. 1.25 to Rs. 1.50 per unit whereas thermal power costs more than three times alongwith a huge pollution. All the politicians should rise above petty poitics and support this agreement in our national interest.Keeping this agreement unoperationalised shall be a matter of self-denial of the great potential of the benifits of this vital agreement.
