Naturally both sides gain by a pact and both sides have to give up something. This deal definitely benefits USA as he gets a reliable long time ally to them and this also benefits us that our nuclear power reactors will run to their ful capacity. But if there are still some doubts, those can be resloved by a joint statement between USA and India on controversial matters.
