Secondly with 123 agreement how much time will it take to start a reactor and produce electricity commercially, by the same time we can tap other resources like wind, hydel and even by coal. If China or pakistan attacks US will not come to help us. Why not work a similar 123 agreement with Russia or France, Why USA. Once they have the power to control indias growth we will be more dominated by US which they like to do always, its the question of Freedom and self reliance. No need of US 123 agreement as they say that the next president of US has the right to continue or discontinue the deal where as all the successors of Indian goverment has to follow this deal, In this win-win situation they are getting more than we do. As it is our economy growth is 8% which is just enough more can be done in the field of Education and infrastructure and upliftment of the downward then spending dollare to buy this Old technology. Same money can be put to increase our research and development on NuKe capabilities. with a one Trillion economy we ourselves can do wonders why beg then.
