I had done a survey in 2003 for a company . I had found that about 42 companies had closed in last two years in the area near Taralola road and adjoining areas. The reason attributed to the policies of government which included "Inability to fire the left supported labour leader who were supporting band now and then and not doing any work " , " Government increase of sales tax and also for wages " ... All these industries closed and mazority of them moved out of Bengal to Orissa ,Jharkhand and Anadra Pradesh.
