immaterial in case of countries like Iran. What we have to foresee is the world after 25 years. China and US may be the only superpowers, we cannot sit on fence. In the previous era we took the side of Russia without losing our self respect and this time the choice is obvious. I don't understand why people are nit picking and not looking at the broader picture. The way you write it seems India is like a schoolchild standing outside the headmasters room (US) waiting to hand over an essay. That is not going to be the case. We are entering into a treaty on equal respect basis, it is the chemistry between leaders that would decide the issues rather than the fine print.
