Forget gas pipeline with Iran. It is not going to happen, if you think China will let the pipe line come to India then you are living in a fool's paradise. Why do you think China is shoring up Iran against US? It is all to do with energy. China has beaten us in energy game in Burma and the Central Asian countries. We are going to be beaten blue in Iran too given that we will always have morons in politics who use all their intelligence in . Even if they agree getting gas through Pakistan is an impossibility. As far as report is considered well US is routinely giving a good report card to Pakistan on nuclear proliferation and terrorism aspect because they need them. Till the time India and US work on a mutual benefit terms we are not going to suffer in any treaty with US. US has got least interest in controlling India except that we are an emerging superpower. So what is wrong in allying with US ? Japan UK amongst a host of countries have been strong allies of US, have they lost their sovereignty?
