No Way Out
by Lalatendu Deo on Aug 20, 2007 09:38 PM

This is no way out. This is dictating terms, (Blackmailing) because they can bring down the government, as BJP is not saying the way the left is. They have been doing this dictating business ever since the election. Only a couple of times they failed, or opted to fail.

The uncertainty they have put India in, is what they should be punished for. But they are the necessary evil India has to bear with.

They have to realise, if they have any ideology, that they are not the government. When they have the government they may do things to their liking. We have elected a government to govern our country and that should be allowed to do exactly that for the term it is in. It is us who should decide what our government should do. And they have to function, otherwise it is we who would kick them out and not the ones those others. This is a Backdoor Politics which should be avoided.

The Deal has had the backing of both BJP and Congress Governments. It is for the reason everyone knows as to why BJP is now opposing the deal.

The system is such that even a single independent MLA or MP can do the harm, let alone a Political Party. There are several Bosses here and that is the pity.
