They are opposing the deal in present form is because, the goverment has managed to negotiate a better deal than what the BJP would have settled for at the time it started the negotiations. After testing the nuclear device it was on a weaker gournd to bargain, in veiw of the sanctions and isolation. They just can't accept somebody doing one better than them. Its just opposition for the sake of being opposition. Its like letting two cats fights while monkey steals the bread.
