I could not understand after reading your article that your main topic of discussion was 123 agreement or proving China as our enemy or proving CPI(M) as Chinese agents.
You are an esteemed and learned person who was with government of India.
So I request you to enlighten us by writing a little more detail about what is there in this 123 agreement. I think everybody who is voting for and against this agreement should know in the first place what it is. We are talking about the agreement, so the question of China and CPIM should not be mixed up. After all you know that neither China nor CPIM are communists. So once people of India knows the actual truth about this deal and have the right to decide then all agents or non-agents will fall in line of the people. So please enlighten about the deal.
If you are talking about China, then of course we have to keep in mind the history of 1962. But then history is a long chain of events. So please keep in mind the history of 5000 years also. Having done that then establish a full proof theory that Chinese are our sworn enemies, I shall be ready to accept. Then also if you ask me, it is not wise to stir up enemity within a nation or within an individual or within the hearts of enemy. Gandhiji has already proved that non-violence is the only way to win over enemies. We have driven away the mighty British empire. We can handle others also if somebody becomes our enemy.
