There could be some demerits in the deal, but it will make India stronger on the Energy (therefore the Manufacturing Front) and Nuclear Technology front. India would become a serious competition to China in the manufacturing and technology area. That is why the Chinese are playing our leftists against the deal. They are themselves developing nuclear reactors on a massive scale.
We should investigate the money contributions being made by the Chinese to our leftist parties and individuals and expose them.
