If for the time being we (India) are not concerned with N-tests, NPT would be much more beneficial than this deal. IAEA already recognises India as a Nuclear State and they too are desperate to bring India into NPT. By signing this deal we are indirectly complying NPT, then why dont we sign the real NPT which has international recognition?
