Taslima Nasreen should be accorded immediate security because she is
1) an India Supporter 2) an ardent vocalist against the atrocities committed against Hindus in Bangladesh 3) a committed literary figure for whom India is one of the very few places where she can be safe and also draw respect for her writings
Its sad to see that our government cannot recognize these facts or even worse seeks to keep silent fearing a loss of muslim votes. Any muslim individual or parties daring to issue fatwas or trying to forcible sunjugate women in India should be immediately disenfranchised as it amounts to taking law in their own hands and amounts to sacrilege.
