Inciting murder for an opinion that you don't agree with is a criminal offense in a CIVILIZED SOCIETY! At the maximum you can only file a lawsuit as you mentioned.
So, ignoring the fatwa is not enough! These muftis and Imams have to be punished by law as the government would do for you and me if we did the same! Imam is no different than any other citizen and laws ruling him are the same as laws ruling us.
