Mankind took 50000yrs to develop engine.But in less than 200 yrs they reached outer space and Moon.So your statement that we will take 40-60yrs to develop thorium reactors is not true.India infact is very close to acheive that techn.Thats why USA is so desperate to sell this agreement which will divert attention or fully stop the research & development programe in nuclear field.Now we have more cash than ever as balance.so why it will take another 30-40yrs like we took for N-Explosion!!
