Your idea seems interesting and tempting in the first place. But if we think deeper(the American Way), we can see that in return of this CONDITIONAL N-deal, American is intending to SUCK our wealth.
Once this deal is passed, American co.'s will line up to SELL nuclear tech and spare parts - Cost - Billions of $s
Again, in the name of COOPERATION and Financial Open Markets, they will gain approval from this Congress Govt to enter our markets in Retail, Finance, Banking, Law, Research, and every thing.
But out of this, RETAIL MARKET is what they are eyeing. Reason, America gets 99% of its goods consumed produced in China. Our Country does not have any stringent policy in terms of quality of goods imported. Hence, US will dump all that goods that is rejected in US market into India and sell them at high prices under is MNC brands.
Who will lose? India. This will create mass unemployment in our manufacturing market. If not a labour price war is certain.
Again, we are buying this N-Technology to fuel our industrial growth. But once these MNCs enter our country, there would be very few industries left to utilise this electricity.
Again, when India does a N-Test, America will withdraw its support, and technology. Leaving vast energy gap (hopefully a short term - taking into consideration that India would have developed its own n-tech). But in this time, there would be accute shortage of goods and will increase inflation over night
