Congress would never take any step that would hamper Shivsena as Congress is well aware that moment shivsena is weaken,the muslims in Mumbai & Maharashtra would become more resistant.Congress need Shivsena to keep muslims in check.Also Shivsena supremo Bal Thackrey wants to establish his son Uddhav in politics. Thats the reason why he helped congress in Presidential poll. Thackrey had already supported daughter of Sharad pawar when she was contesting the Rajya Sabha seat from Maharashtra. Pawar & Thackrey are old friends and always help each other in politics although they do exchange verbal comments against each other in public for the namesake.
