Look I am all for justice for everyone - and muslims should get the same justice as Hindus- that is the foundation of a secular state. A riot unfortunately is an unproven situation. It is a fact that the Bombay riots were a result of some hot headed muslims killing Hindus and then Hindus retaliating. As a secularist - my belief is that muslims have not accepted secularism and consider their religion above interest of the country. This I feel is making everyone very upset with Muslim so even the other minorities like Christians and Sikhs usually join Hindus in discriminating against muslims. My suggestion is that if Muslims keep their religion private and not indulge in its public display of fanatic behaviour - muslims will be very safe in India and will prosper the way Shahrukh Khan , Kalam and Premji do. And not make Osama and Saddam their heroes.
