Pak militants spread tentacles
by Bodh Ramdeo on Aug 13, 2007 06:05 PM

All these years, Pakistan's ruler General Musharraf has consitently and vehemently denied harboring Taliban and AlQuaeda fighters on Paki soil, but now under heavy pressure from Uncle Sam and from his own people at home, he's finally admitted that contrary to his previuos denials, these terrorists have indeed been given safe harbor in Pak territory. This puts a slight dent in his plans to have the Taliban installed as a legitimate part of the Afghan govt.
Phew! Who knows, with his newfound candor, he might even admit his wholesale support of the Islamic terrorists operating in Indian Kashmir? Or the whereabout of his pal Dawood? Naah, that might be asking too much!
