Why do we hate each other?
by udayam enterprises on Aug 09, 2007 02:19 PM

All religions have some sort of fanaticism, look at Christainity, the crusades were religious wars conducted to spread religion, Islam has conducted many wars to spread Islam, destroyed many temples. Even Hinduism has stopped Buddhism from spreading, we read about Ashoka the great having built many monastries, but where are they now. They were destroyed before 10th century by our own Hindus long before Muslim Invasion in the 11 th century. This is how history is hidden, we read about Christians and Muslims in our history books, but never about why Buddhism never survived in the land of it origin. Why it perished after Ashoka and Harshavardhana? Check out world history from any foreign source and you will know this to be true. Politicians and the government have always been manipulating us. The point I am making is this...

All religions are guilty of some misdeeds in the past. Why should we fight amongst ourselves now for what happened centuries ago. It is crazy.
Politicians, be it Congress, BJP or any other party don't give a damn, they just want
to rouse up peoples sentiments to get votes. When BJP was in power why didn't they build the temple at Ayodhya? Because they don't care. It is much better if we stop hating each other like this and work to the growth of our country.
