I would only add that the nuclear energy we are seeking to build with our own money will constitute only a small portion of the total energy requirement of the next decade and beyond. And at the time, we shall be having depleated coal reserve and no major Dam to build. The very scientists you are banking upon are not sure as to when we would be able to finish the 'experiment' on the Fast Breeder Technology. And without this deal, we will be far away from reality.
Now we have 4 hours of Power cut in rural India (50% of which has not seen electricity, even today. In 2017, we shall have 18 hours power cut in each city, every day of the year. Are we preparing for that? Will you be Blaming Manmohan Sing or yourself then?
