There was a script found which belonged to the 2AD time.. in which Tamil literature was there. which is the oldest.. but if you go through it.. it says the grammer from tamil was taken from Kannada... so people can decide which is oldest.. just because you had some influence in the higher up ..doesnt mean that it is a great lang and others not.. Most of the indian lang are old.. so if a foolish president can declare one lang as classical lang why not other langs.. so wake up kid.. there are lot more out there..
