Traveling to Bangalore

I was traveling a few months back, August 15, 2006 to be precise and the Flight reached Bangalore at 3 AM, due to terror scare reported at Heathrow Airport. The incidence of liquid bomb scare had thrown airlines into a tizzy. The tight security in India had led to delays and upon landing in Bangalore, I was shocked to see the Parking lot had many private taxi drivers with "Osama-brand beards, long Kurta, short pyjama and polished black shoes without socks " attire. I was wondering if I had touched Bangalore or the plane had been diverted to an Afghan city!

This shows these fellows are ready fodder for Talibanised culture and aren't embarrassed to move around with non-Indian look and outlook in Silicon Valley of India. Is Bangalore going to be the breeding ground for feeding the terror network and push India into chaos?

It will be a tragedy if the most peaceful state of India goes the Kashmir way. The Administration, the police and the people have to unite. The Political class in Karnataka is unimaginative and disinterested in good rule. People can%u2019t depend on these people who look apologetic and uninspiring
