Dear Prasad, The Police have to justify each and every action in terms of Law (the Indian Evidence Act etc.). They may have knowledge but they cannot take action unless they have SOLID EVIDENCE which will stand in a court of law. Our justice system does not accept truth unless it can be PROVED BEYOND REASONABLE DOUBT. Please learn LAW before getting angry at someone who is helpless. Get the Law changed if you need more action than information.
