We should have tried a commando operation, 95% of the worlds countries didnt recognise the taliban as a government. We might have only been able to save a few hostages, but it would have at least sent a message that we wont tolerate this in the future. If nothinng else we should have let the hostages die if nothing else had worked. You dont release somebody like masood azhar under any reason. Beacause when it is all said and done he might be responsoible for more than 200 lives. I pray not but my prayers dont mean athing here. What we need is action and we just gave in and we sent a message that it is possible to pull this off again. Although I dont think India has anybody close to the devilish mind of Masood Azhar in any of our prisons right now. But a wrong message was sent to our army and our enemy in that sad episode.
