RE:RE:man = mummy lole
by aconcernedreader on Aug 03, 2007 05:11 AM

There are tens of thousands of women in India supporting their families by working hard. At the same time they are also taking care of their husband and children. As inflation hits the roof, its becoming more important that both the man and the wife work. That way the children can get the best education and not be denied anything for lack of money. However, people are only seeing the negatives of women in the workplace and noone is appreciating how hard a woman has to work to achieve a work-life balance. As for the man, he thinks his job is done once he comes back from work. Why cant a man accept his responsibility towards the house as well?
India is now undergoing a period of transition. The old man of the house stereotype has to go if marital discord has to be resolved. Men too have to do their share of household chores. Please stop living in this day and age with a mentality that belongs to the 1950s.
