Bon Jovi - Bombing is quite easy my friend - they won't even lose a soldier by doing that. Pakistan's missiles and nukes can be taken out by Americans even before musharraf completes "Inshallah" . Pakistan is not Iraq where every able bodied man has been a soldier in Saddam's army. Americans do not like to fight battles on the ground and Pakistan is full of rich targets. Pakistan can retaliate against US bombing by threatening India with nuclear attack BUT that would result in its total annihilation which will make India make its own pre-emptive nuclear attack inevitable. Further we are not still sure if Pakistan have nuclear weapons or they are all duds much like the fraud AQ Khan. And US really does not care if Pakistan attacks India ! The next large attack on US soil will be a trigger for some pretty heavy shelling in Karachi and Lahore.
