'Military rule in Pak producing a failing state'
by Fazal Curmally on Aug 02, 2007 12:10 PM

I have read the Report. I printed it out as reference to show to people how badly off the mark a think tank can be.We have hadf a 7% growth consistently for the last 5 years.

They forgot one simple fact of life. According to the Constitution neither Benazir of Nawaz Sharif can run for PM again. We have had our fill of these looters and know then for what they are.Neither of these leaders wants to be a proxy leader. They want a major chunk of the action for themselves.

America needed to implement the 9/11 Commission's recommendations and wanted scapegoats to pin their failures on because of their elections in 2008. Afghanistan was not Pakistan's fight and neither is Iraq. If the USA thinks it can come into Pzkistan after terrorists, then they better find a new route to get to Afghanistan. No over flights no fuel or logistics support from us then. The money they save as aid to Pakistan can be used to supply their troops from a different route should they find one.

We have no fight with the Afghans, We have a fight with terrorists in Pakistan only. Fighting and winning is America's responsibility in both Afghanistan and Iraq. Why blame the neighbouring countries for their failures?

Down with Bush and Cheney and their Gospel of
the "Axis of Terror."
