Aussie Police, some officers wanted promotions, Minister wants votes
by Arvind Singh on Aug 01, 2007 08:35 PM

Challo Haneef or no Haneef what does it matter. The whole issue was as follows

1. Aussie Police wanted to be in Lime Light, they were jealous of UK Police- The Asses series. Judge them by

- From where did they get information, which organisation asked Aussie police for any help, was any notice given by Interpol.

- Probably they wanted undue promotions for acheiving something extraordinary, so they scribbled the diary with increminating stuff

2. The Minister wanted some votes (may be elections are nearing), they went ahead thinking that nobody will question their authority under the name of terrorism.

3. The UK police was least interested in Haneef, and Aussies (underdogs for UK), they never even shared any information and neither they were interested in extradition inpite of them keeping him in detention for over 25 days

Haneef was just enjoying free food & accomodation (he had no money), he must thank Aussie polic and minister to make him popular overnight. He has series of job offers, he has interview offers, also he can win any election from Bangalore now- useful material for Kumaraswamy, thats why the vist.
