This shows that you either dunno what you are saying or you are completley and literaly ignorant of Islam. Before asking why fatwa was issues against Rushdie and Taslim you should ask what is that act of these two people that led to issue a Fatwa? You are not asking that.
Who said that Islam do not allow women to have equal rights. If you think so than you are completley illetterate about islam. You should learn why they are allowed to wear burkas what is the reason.
