Hey Kamsten, Cool down man. I am from north India (Varanasi, UP) and I have several of my friend in NE states. Several of your accusations are right that NE is neglected and people in rest of India are actually not much aware of this part of India. However stating the diference that NE guys don't like silly cricket and hence it is also one of the difference is actually silly thinking. I also do not like circket but difference comes at some other place. Like in my college in UP, around 30 of NE students were there but hardly anyone was interested in study and a bit of hardwork. All could matter to them was rock music and dance and leisure time. Make no mistake that half of the problem of NE states are not of negligence but people themselves. Let me call it bluntly: Large no. of them are lazy, not interested in hardwork, not realy interested in serious education. No body gave a training to Punjabis and Gujratis that they start things from scratch and eventually a successful businessman. I had been in Aizawl, Dibrugarh and other small places in NE but look at this.....local shop would close the shop by 4-5 pm and outsider (marwadis etc) would open the shop at 8pm and sell stuffs, if a customer arrives. May I ask that NE adopted western culture is indigenous to them ??? What the hell is with them that they do not want to work (read hardwork) for the sake of their own devlopment. FYI, I married to a girl from Dibrugarh and live in San Jose, USA. Deep Patel
