People learning Hindi out of their own interest is different from being force to learn Hindi. Every employee in PSUs have been issued ordered to learn Hindi. There are circulars saying there should be atleast 55% of communication that shld be in Hindi. This applies to all the officers to serve in the rural areas - where the chances of people knowing Hindi is highly unlikely. Dont you think this is not imposition. It is applicable even to scientist working in our Defence Organizations. It has just gone underground. That is it.
There are incentives to employees who have taken up and cleared Hindi exams.
More over u need understand that he didn't critisize Hindi - he just critizied imposition of Hindi.
