This is a welcome Ordinance. The Christian missionaries were carrying out their missionary work in a blatant provoking manner in the Thirumala hills that even a person with totally secular attitude on a visit to Thirupathi would feel offended. It is unfortunate that the major non-Indian religions are stooping to such low levels to swell their numbers by marketing their religions on a commercial scale. Their methods have not changed since the days of Gandhiji who wrote about their Budgeting for the next harvest of conversion in 'Harijan' long back. What is noteworthy is that this Ordinance has come at a time when the state Chief Minister is a Christian.
