Congress taking the help of a child
by Shridhar Iyer on Apr 26, 2007 02:07 PM

It is unfortunate that the oldest party in the Country has come to the level of taking the help of a child speaker, to attract the voters. Nodoubt the public may clap their hands, for the sake of sympathy to the child. It is rather unfortunate that a party with a very long history, has to depend on a child, (who should be going to school, rather than spending time in such rallies), instead of long list of positive achievements to the country, and many leaders who can talk very well and take the crowd along. If you do not allow second rung people to grow in the party, for fear of threat to you and your family, you will have this kind of a situation. Earlier we had good speakers for Cong in UP in Mr.Bahguna, ND Tiwari, now no such leaders exist in UP Congress who can capture the attention of the audience.

With best wishes,
V.Srinivasan.
