BSP and Brahmin
by ashok tiwari on Apr 26, 2007 10:19 AM

Mayawati has 22% captive votes of Dalits(?) and with 50% of brahmin votes(12%)she is bound to win hands down.
It is the faith of people, from some of the sheduled castes, who feel they have got a voice in Mayawati that helps her garner their votes.
But the mafias and the other third rate persons who are contesing on many BSP tickets will doom her sooner than one thinks.
Brahmins have been rulers by proxy. As advisers to kings they called shots. By proping Mayawati to power Brahmin will be on centre stage again.
But the irony is that Brahmin is known for renunciation(Tyag) and that is his strength. The society has come to this state as brahmins have shed their basic traits of teaching and renunciation.
She is as corrupt as others. But she is alone while Mulayam has whole family to loot.
