I'm from tamilnadu and i'm of the firm opinion that DMK is TN's curse. They have been the most successfull party in dividing the state by the name of caste. Being a brahmin I should admit that, brahmins had their days and they did treat people indifferently for which they must pay the price. However the fact is that now, DMK other than anti-brahmin propaganda are now trying to create a new flare by dividing the state communally (based on religion) which in my opinion is the most dangerous thing to do. I feel very sad to see how the state looks. Great leaders like Kamaraj had a vision for the country and state. All those dreams have just been burnt. We now have leaders like karunanidhi, ramdass, stalin and so on. Leadership, I just can't see it in any of them. May be that's just me! I've heard a lot of people comment that TN has an aversion towards hindi. I seriously cannot argue against this, because certain incidents make it look very obvious. I'll try to put things in the right perspective. In my opinion every state in india has to comply to the national language, which does'nt mean that every person must know hindi. However considering the fact that tamil & sanskrit are the oldest languages in india, TN people have flair for tamil, the right to choose is still left to the individual. Trying to promote your native language in your own state, if this is wrong then God Forbid. When it comes to reservation, the current reservation policy of 69% is being used by the son's and daughter of millionares. This reservation is driving FC people to get fake certificates to show them as an OBC. This is not only in TN, this is the fate of our country.
