When military is freed from civil control, it no more remains a military, it becomes a militia or a grotesque form like we see in Pakistan an intrument of foreign control. After all military has got to feed, to pay for its families, and retirees. Where will the money come from? India is a civil secular nation with Constitutional democracy, thank your stars for our politicians who enabled this for you with responsible though overstretched governance.
