Identify the problems correctly. Hinduism created Castes - It has good basis for that. But if Hindu's are practicing - it is absolutely wrong - unacceptable. In the course of time, it will change - because that is greatness of IHinduism - It slowly but steadily accepts change unlike other religions whih consider changing any of the strictures written in the medieval ages (Those strictures were very relevant in those days)
Again, Changing religion does not change the mind set. Those christians who got converted are still following all the ills of caste system - They try to find matches for their young ones within the castes of their forefathers.
So don't blame Hinduism for the evil. Though Hinduism has lot of practices that are not relevant today, there is awareness of the futility of these practices but Hinduism is the only hope in such circumstances because it is open to change (Some may oppose initially but will finally give up)
