I think the sun has set on Vajpayee's career, and he has gracefully pretty much retired. LK Advani should not project himself as a potential Prime Minister, but rather help to build a consensus by advising and smoothing out relations among the second generation. Leaders like Ram Naik and Jagmohan likewise should pursue such a path and help to give complete strength to the next generation taking over the party.
