RE:Religious Laws
by Sunny on Apr 21, 2007 09:15 PM

c'mon Jairaj,
we speak of develpment and then follow these superstitions.
If Allah, really wanted to make going to the toilet as unholy, then none of us would have an ass in the first place.
Climbing stairs and saying verses does not make sense at all, if a muslim policeman is climbing stairs to run after a criminal, is he gonna think about saying the verse? And if he does not say the verse, then should the enforcer of law and protector of the soriety (considering he is loyal to his work) should go to hell?
Lets face it, the Sharia law may have been set out to accomodate the needs of the society at that time, but today, it is very impractical to follow it.
MOreover, I really don't think Allah is worried about what direction you face to take shit. He must have better things to worry about.
