Another example of cheap politics
by Ram Sharma on Apr 20, 2007 06:42 PM

this is just another example of cheap politics. i remember congress party issuing two manifestoes in last elections in gujrat. one was in gujrati language and the other was in english. the contents of the two were different. she considers the indians as fools and plays all such tricks.

is it not communal writing 15000 letters exclusively to muslims? will ec look into it? to strengthen this country's secular traditions, she has written "As the biggest political party in the country, it is our duty to create such a society in which there is no injustice meted out to any sect. It is a big challenge that cannot be met without your backing." she is trying to say that it is a big challenge, which the congress is trying to take so that no injustice is meted out to any sect and the challenge cannot be met unless she gets the support of muslims. thus she wants muslims to assume that at present muslims are not getting justice in up and congress party will provide them the same. since it was mulayam singh, who is strongly pro muslim and who was ruling the state with the support of congress, how she is trying to say that muslims are not getting justice? on the other hand in a booklet congress party also claims credit for the progress of all successful muslims in the country. is it not contradictory? though she has nowhere written that muslims are not getting justice and that muslims should support her, as that will call for immediate action by ec and courts, but the message is clear, because the letter has been sent to muslims only.
