While I do agree that we have lost an educationist and brain power, I think the loss is for the US and not for India. While knowledge is meant to be distributed, the same could have been done in India as well. And further, I fail to understand why the family could not have flown Air India or more so a private jet funded by any of the politicians - this should have been the party's money as opposed to the Indian tax payer's monies. Further, we have had so many instances of Indians dying out of unnatural causes outside of India, but this is the first time the govt has come forward - is this a caste distinction? My deepest sympathies for the bereaved family, but I guess the Romanian professor (not Israeli)was a true hero - he & his fmaily deserves the truest humanitarian respect and sympathies
