karunanidhi -dravids were follower of Samanar religion

ASI has also confirmed that Karunanidhi's ancestors were followers of Samanar religion
( Dravid version of Jainism)prior to becoming foricble dalits around 8th century by Brahmin called Shankaracharya.

Did someone from ASI told this history?
