the country owes a lot of bad stuff to the gandhi family too....like corruption to begin with (indira gandhi's ways weren't too discreet you know), high handedness (recently the chief minister of a north eastern state had to stand in queue behind delhiwala officers to wish sonia on her birthday), the indo-pak seperation, the sad state of pandits in j&k, turning a blind eye to farmer's woes across india, so on and so forth. the gandhi family would be able to do nothing without its office bearers. in fact they should revolt at such statements. but i guess they have all accepted slavery as a way of life, british or no british in the country.
