Mr.Menon , you need to check the facts. India was partitioned because people residing wanted it that way. All the talk of religious tolerance is all nonsense as only Hindus have been tolerant for past 13 century giving rise to Islam. So the basic issue between India and Pakistan is nothing but the century old enimosity between Hindus and Muslims.. How can you forget the attack of Ghauri, ghazni,Timur etc..I guess you have forgotten a lot of things in your sixty years..
