RE:To all Indians
by Amandeep Singh on Apr 14, 2007 08:47 AM

By the way the so called National anthem of India was sung for the first time in 1911, in the praise of King George V, in Calcutta, in which Rabindra Nath Tagore had praised His Majesty King George V dy describing him that (O George V) Bharat's Bhageya and Vidhata, your vast empire extends from Punjab to Sindh to Gujrat to Maratha etc.
It is an historical fact that is never told in history books of India, that the Great Rabndranath Tagore was soon rewarded with the Nobel prize soon after this because of his such great appreciations. May beMr Murthy knows about this historical fact and is hence giving his view
