point 2 - this modesty thing is BS. Even nude women in the US are safe. THAT is what is called safety. India, acceptedly, is not that safe. But it is not the covering but the mentality of people that makes it safe / unsafe. . Can you gurantee that a covered woman will be safe? NO. In saudia, every woman is covered, yet they are treated shabbily and treated as sexual objects only. So much for modesty.
