Mr Murthy is a man of high principles, but the President of India is a post that requires a man of high stature, a man who can fight these shameless politicians, in spite of the fact that he has no executive powers to exercise. Mr Murthy has nurtured Infosys at a time when the business environment in this nation was very conducive for them. But, a President's job is exactly opposite to that. As I have already said, the President has to act as the guardian of Indian democracy, with no executive powers. So, there is a huge gap in the work profile of these two posts. I feel he is a very gentle person, but not fit for this job.
