The HC order is trying to say that all Indians are free and equal. Muslims already enjoy the same "protection" and rights as all other Indians and there is no reason it should be otherwise. It is a step in the right direction. I have not studied Islamic texts seriously and therefore do not claim and do not care whether Islam formally advocates violence. All I can say is that 90% of the problems in the world are due to Islamic fascists. If Islam has a poor image in the world, it is because of countless Muslims who are involved in terrorist activities; the free world knows very well that not every Muslim can be a terrorist but it cannot help remembering that every terrorist is a Muslim. The correction process has to come from within Islamic society, there is no reason for them to demand that we should come to their door begging with them not to kill innocent people. If they break the law, national or international, they will be penalized severely. Xenophobic tenedencies will be the natural outcome of such continued conflict and they can only blame themselves for this.
